About John Hagger III, Pastor - Biographical Information
Pastor John Hagger III is the grandson of a pastor.
He was born and raised in Houston, Texas
on Lockwood Drive in the Fifth Ward section of Houston, Texas. He
was a member of the Lockwood Drive Church of God in Christ where the
Elder D. Duncan was the Pastor. It is now Duncan Memorial Church of
God in Christ, and is in the same location, 2222 Lockwood Drive.
After graduating from high school, Pastor John entered the United
States Army and received an honorable discharge in July 1967.
In 1976, Pastor John Hagger III became a member of Lakewood Church under the leadership of Pastors John & Dodie Osteen, where he served for 14 years and also graduated from their Lakewood Bible School in 1988.
On December 9, 1990, Pastor John became the
founder and pastor of Victory to Victory Church at 9950 Walden Road
in Beaumont, Texas. In 1998 he attended Rhema Bible Training Center
in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the leadership of Kenneth E. Hagin, founder
and overseer. He graduated two years later in the class of 2000.
Pastor John presently holds dual ordination
credentials with Lakewood Church, where Joel Osteen is the Pastor in
Houston, Texas; and also Rhema Bible Church, where Rev. Kenneth W.
Hagin is Pastor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Victory to Victory Church is a
dual associate church with Rhema Bible Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
under Pastor Kenneth W. Hagin and Bethany World Prayer Center in
Baton Rouge, Louisiana under the leadership of Pastor Larry
Stockstill.
Pastor John Hagger III is married to Teacher Evelyn J. Hagger. He is the father of three daughters and one son, who pastors in Del City, Oklahoma, and he has three grandchildren.
